Travel Is More Than Listening
Travel is full of moments when you're not listening. These heavy, oversized headphones become burdensome in transition, especially when worn around the neck or carried between uses
Headphones Live On The Neck Too
Across long days of movement — commuting, waiting, walking, sitting — headphones spend more time worn around the neck than on the ears. They become part of what the body carries for hours at a time, even when no audio is playing
Pausing Music for Everyday Conversations
Listening is frequently interrupted by small, everyday interactions — a friend asking a question, a cashier speaking, a quick exchange while traveling. The headphones slide down to the neck and stay there until the moment passes.
Continuous Transitions — On, Off, Pause, Resume
During long journeys, listening is repeatedly interrupted: stepping onto a train, ordering a coffee, talking briefly, resting. Each transition forces the headphone into an in-between state — loosened, shifted, or resting on the neck.
